As another year draws to its end, I want to take this opportunity to thank all of those that have – and continue to support PGCS. To say that we “couldn’t have done it without you” is a greater understatement that one can imagine.
So many people, so many smiles through tears, so many heartfelt thank yous , donors both small and large, willing hands and hearts, and great ideas – all have made PGCS what it is today. And what, you may say, have we accomplished?
We have expanded our outreach to include non-insured medicines through a local pharmacy for patients. We have expanded our outreach to include lodging for those women and their families traveling from out of town for surgeries and treatments.
More volunteers have signed on to help us help our recipients by committing to assist with the Broad’s Brush being held September 24, 2017. We have new Board members who are eager to become involved and want to guide us to new accomplishments
As PGCS approaches its fifth anniversary – the first quarter of 2017 – we must also remember those that we have lost along the way and remember them and their loved ones at this time of the year. I hope that maybe someday the list will dwindle, but in the meantime, we must think of them and continue to pursue the original dream of “hope, awareness and assistance”.
I wish you good health, good family and friends, and good cheer for this most magical of seasons and look forward to seeing you in 2017.
Merry Christmas!
